Best Las Vegas Mexican Restaurants

If you are planning a trip to Las Vegas any time soon and are looking for the best Mexican restaurants to eat at, here is a helpful guide to enjoying a great authentic Mexican meal.

Las Vegas has a huge variety of great authentic Mexican Restaurants to choose from, whether your planning on eating in the Lovely Summerlin or Henderson areas, or at the famous Strip, your bound to find a great place to eat at.

If you are planning on eating on the strip there is Diablo’s Cantina. Diablo’s is one-part restaurant and one part hopping night club. It has an open upstairs deck for dinning, dancing, and live music. The downstairs offers a great dinning area and after 11pm it turns into a nightclub with a live DJ. Diablo’s is located next to the New York New York, connected to the Monte Carlo.

There also is Ricardo’s which is home to the world’s biggest margarita. Ricardo’s has been a perennial favorite for 29 years. Ricardo’s has been voted “Best Mexican Restaurant” by the Las Vegas Review Journal Reader’s Poll 22 times since 1983! Ricardo’s is located at Northwest corner of West Flamingo and Decatur.

There is Lindo Michoacan, which was voted best Mexican restaurant six years in a row. Lindo has three convenient locations. One is at 2655 E. Desert Inn Road. Another one at 10082 W. Flamingo Road as well as 7870 W. Tropical Parkway. Also one at 645 Carnegie Street, which is in Henderson.

At the Hard Rock Cafe there is the Pink Taco. The Pink Taco is popular for putting a California spin on traditional Mexican dishes. It’s great atmosphere and great fun.

If you are looking for a larger place that has great gaming, then I suggest Viva Mercado’s. Viva Mercado’s host Chef Jose Rodriguez who won the 2000 top chef award. He was recognized as one of Las Vegas top chefs by the ‘Las Vegas Cuisine Magazine.’ Jose won the 2000 top chef award.

Finally there is Canonita Mexican Restaurant, which is located in the Venetian Resort-Hotel Casino. A bustling open-air kitchen adds energy to the beautiful dinning area, great authentic Mexican ambiance, and lively Meringue, Salsa and Tejano music. All complimented by amazing authentic Mexican food.

Deciding on what to choose from is difficult considering they are all great places. Wherever your choice may be, there is a large variety of great places to eat great Mexican food. Yum!
